WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGIn the role of Principal Engineer, you will work on building a highly-scalable and extensible SaaS enabled Platform; Be a mentor, technical leader and thought leader for a talented team of back end engineers, challenging them and helping them growWorking with internal customers on adoption, as well as identifying and resolving problems throughout the project life cycleA proven track record of working closely with cross-functional teams like Product Management & other teams by understanding the prioritiesWHAT YOU BRING10+ yrs of experience in Java/J2ee technologiesHands-on experience of Java/J2EE, core Java concepts  (multithreading, design patterns using Java, collections etc.), Spring, Hibernate, Groovy and Grails preferred and building web services using REST/SOAP APIs java based distributed systems. Proficiency with RDBMS Server in designing and optimizing queries, performance tuning and stored proceduresGood hands-on experience with Code Repository tools and Java debugging tools.Drive technical excellence and implementation of best engineering practices such as estimation review, design review, code review, unit testing, continuous integration/development Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. MS or Masters in Information Technology preferredData-driven decision makerExcellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with other teams across the organization.Ability to work effectively and achieve results across functional areas in a work environment with a high rate of changeAbility to manage multiple teams and initiatives providing a consistent record of all activities while handling confidential work with discretionExtensive hands-on experience building and managing the development of complex, large scale enterprise applications and products with resilience and reliabilityProven experience in team management, attracting, hiring, retaining and leading top engineering talent and high-performance product engineering teamsStrong written, verbal communications, presentation skills, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills
