About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer with a strong background in embedded systems. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge and practical experience with Linux systems, including boot, kernel, drivers, ALSA, even network devices. Additionally, the candidate should possess extensive expertise in embedded development, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and a proven ability to handle complex problems.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with the technical leader on system design, requirements analysis, feasibility study, solution evaluation, and propose solutions.Work closely with software and other function teams to ensure project goals are met in terms of time, quality, and cost.Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure project goals are met in terms of time, quality, and cost.Demonstrate a strong ability to independently tackle challenge tasks and lead efforts to resolve complex issues.Innovate and drive changes to improve efficiency and deliver high quality results.Proactively address system level challenges such as crash handling, deadlocks, and performance optimization.What You Need
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.8+ years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly in the context of embedded systems.Excellent mindset and know-how on software High/Low level design and implementation.Deep understanding and practical experience with Linux systems, including boot, kernel, drivers, ALSA, interruption handling.Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in addressing system level issues.Basic hardware knowledge, familiarity with general hardware interfaces, and the ability to understand schematics and debug hardware issues using tools like oscilloscopes.Exceptional self-driven capabilities, with the ability to independently handle significant tasks and lead problem-solving initiatives.Creative and openminded, with a focus on efficiency and high-quality deliverables.What is Nice to Have
Experience in developing speaker/sound bar technology is preferred.
