This position is hybrid in nature at the manager’s discretion requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Headquarters facility in Cranberry, PA located in the Greater Pittsburgh Area, or any EMEA or US Hub. The Advanced Passive (AP) Technology Deployment organization is seeking multiple Project Engineers in support of exciting New Plant opportunities. This position will be responsible for the Turbine Building design development for projects requiring adaptations from previous AP1000 projects. Location: EMEA or US Hub.
The AP Technology Deployment organization missions are:
The integration of Global Engineering Services input in support of new build offers The management of Global Engineering Services scope for programs aiming at improving the international marketability and the delivery of AP1000 projects worldwide The lead and integration of Global Engineering Services scope in support of new build market development, early works and FEED contracts (up to the establishment of a project-specific org) The development of International Project Engineering resources in support of future new build projects (up to the establishment of a project-specific org) Coordinate with GES functional directors and cross functional teams to implement standard work processes, procedures and automation tools on the AP1000 Turbine Island design activities consistent with the strategic direction established by the respective Project Stakeholders.Position Responsbibilities:
Lead the execution of the Turbine Island Design Plan for 50 Hz AP1000 design. Support the development, maintenance and distribution of engineering budgets and schedules for respective parts of new project execution. Facilitate cross-discipline coordination for resolution of both technical and schedule related challenges. Interface with potential customers, partners and regulators in support of Westinghouse stakeholder engagement and project plans. Support various aspects of future bid and proposal efforts in various countries. Supports the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead as required
