Principal responsibilities

Responsible for all technical decisions – principles, design, implementation – across the sector.Provide positive, hands-on engineering leadership supported by agile delivery and applying the latest technology solutions and architectures from the wider technology community to deliver change with maximum impact.Provide coaching, mentoring and technical guidance for a diverse team of engineers.Accountable for technology controls that ensure our systems and services are secure, resilient, and sustainable for the long term and managing the balance between time-to-market and stability with an understanding of the risks involved.Through collaboration, driving adoption of best practices across the Securities Services organization.Driving a culture of experimentation and innovation within the teams, leading by example with proof-of-concepts and fail-fast, and implementing latest technologies, tools, architectures where required in the tech stack. Creating an environment which fosters open discussion, challenging constructively and teamwork.
