BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
You lead, maintain and enhance critical telecommunications systems across Spectrum Enterprise. You possess an in-depth knowledge of technical and design skills that you use to improve Design teams and advise team leaders. You collaborate with multiple cross-functional technical teams in person and digitally in an office environment.
HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Design, monitor, enhance and troubleshoot systems in an assigned area. Improve logic difficulties and documentation through a detailed analysis and revision of existing programs. Maintain system design standards through rigorous testing and review. Ensure that all technical integration, changes, standards and documentation is accurate through technical support. Mentor and guide technical teams and test and review work plans and system design. Mitigate risks by adhering to industry-specific local, state and federal regulations.WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM ENTERPRISE
Required qualifications
Experience: Ten or more years of engineering and project management experience. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Technical skills: Knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, fiber, multi-mode, single-mode, UTP cable, bridging, switching, routing, Ethernet and transport technologies and protocols; Understanding of network design, network architecture, protocols, network topology, TCP/IP and the OSI model; Familiar with ticketing and software tools, network devices and network appliances; Proficient in network designing software and Microsoft Office. Skills: English communication skills. Abilities: Able to perform duties in a very fast-paced environment and learn new technology quickly.Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of company products and services. Advanced knowledge of Spectrum Managed Services products.Experience with video, data, and voice products.Experience with provisioning and troubleshooting outages.WHAT YOU CAN ENJOY EVERY DAY
