Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
Join an inclusive team passionate about one thing: using their expertise in the relentless pursuit of innovation for customers and partners. The solutions we build help make everything from virtual reality experiences to breakthroughs in neural networks possible. We do it all while committing to integrity, sustainability, and giving back to our communities. Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.
As a Non-Volatile Engineering (NVEG) Process conversion Engineer at Micron Technology Inc, you will be responsible for driving an effort to ensure Fab process conversions are beneficial and not detrimental to NAND wafer level reliability performance. You will work with various Engineering and Development groups to ensure necessary actions are taken to maintain or improve NAND defectivity (measured in unit of DPM) and reliability (material assessment flow) product requirements. The future of non-volatile memory and the systems that utilize the advanced technology will continue to be exciting and dynamic. Micron is seeking experienced individuals that find technical challenges engaging and invigorating.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Be the gatekeeper for reliability performance through reviewing and ensuring Fab process conversions are assessed adequately from a product reliability perspective by recommending appropriate reliability/defectivity test flow to ensure they do not result in excursion events.
Ability to comprehend the detailed process changes for each conversion and it’s structural and potential electrical impact on the NAND device.
Ability to understand and keep abreast of extrinsic (defect), intrinsic (NAND cell) and NAND system failure modes of current NAND products in order to assess the risk impact of each process conversion.
Collaborate with NWR engineer to drive Physical Failure Analysis (PFA), Root Cause Analysis and long-term countermeasures with global organizations for failures related to process changes.
Keep track of process conversion run rates on a weekly basis.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Process conversion engineers.
Requirements:
Bachelor/Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Microelectronics/Semiconductor Processing.
Min 3yrs experience in Process integration and/or process module is required.
Good understanding of Device Physics and ability to understand circuit schematics is an added advantage.
Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
Good multitasking skills and ability to set priorities in a fast moving, dynamic environment
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Self-motivation and enthusiasm
