The Integration Support Group (ISG), a large diverse IT service organization supporting three major restricted programs, has an opening for a Principal or Senior Principal Network Engineer to design and perform the installation and configuration of network products, including Cisco switches, routers and firewalls. Installation activities include initial setup following standard configuration guidelines, security hardening, cabling, labeling, documentation, and checkout. Ongoing tasks include problem resolution, firewall changes, connection additions, moves and changes, monitoring. The location for this role will be at our Space Park campus in Redondo Beach, CA. This work is in a secure facility (SCIF) and 100% onsite work is required.

Provide assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing systemsImplement a communication system requirement to support distributed functionality of a software engineering environmentAnalyze network characteristicsTroubleshoots network and system problemsThis requisition may be filled at either the Principal Network Engineer (T03) level or a Senior Principal Network Engineer (T04) level, depending on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications for the Principal Network Engineer (T03):
