POSITION DESCRIPTION Define scope of technical and quality engineering programs and develop effective, quality solutions to challenges which involve unique or controversial problems. Creatively meet all company and industry requirements and apply site systems to achieve quality, cost-effective, and timely results. Give quality guidance to less senior professionals on related tasks. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - PH.D. degree in Engineering/Science with 5 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Engineering experience in the fields of Operations, Maintenance, Construction or Industrial Manufacturing. - MS degree in Engineering/Science with 8 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Engineering experience in the fields of Operations, Maintenance, Construction or Industrial Manufacturing. - BS degree in Engineering/Science with 10 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Engineering experience in the fields of Operations, Maintenance, Construction or Industrial Manufacturing. - Non-Technical degree with 13 years of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Engineering experience in the fields of Operations, Maintenance, Construction or Industrial Manufacturing. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Ability to work in a diverse work environment, Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening. Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values. Possesses strong personal computer skills. At least 16 years of multi-disciplined professional Quality Assurance, or engineering related experience with increasing levels of responsibility in an operations, maintenance, construction, or manufacturing environment, of which, 10 years must have been in a senior position. Desired Qualifications Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred. Current or prior certification as a lead auditor. ASQC-Certified Quality Engineer is desirable. Previous experience with SRNS within last 5 years preferred. ​​ PF-81 Evaluation Criteria: • Price and Cost to Company: 20% • Technical Acceptability: 80% Duration of the Contract: 1 year, 2 option periods. Estimated Hours Per Year: 2,080 ST 400 OT Work Schedule: 6:00a-4:30p (Mon-Thur) Onsite or Remote?
