Lead by example and have practical experience of building services and technical architecture to deliver RBS solutions.Demonstrate influence through code to large parts of an organization.Accountable for providing tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of softwareWork closely with developers, testers, and system administrators to ensure the entire software development life cycle is smooth, efficient, and error-freeDevelop accelerated delivery pipeline by embracing automated tools in DevOps environment and collaborating closely with Product OwnersEnhanced Developer / Tester experience through seamless adoption of Continuous Testing capability for effective CI/CDAdopt new technologies, like Gen AI, to drive the Engineering or Platform evolution.

Creates and manages strong and trusted working relationship inside and outside of WPB through strong relationships within the broader HSBC group.Gain the trust of Engineers.Manage an effective relationship with partners and third-party vendor to ensure successful uptime.Join the Internal and external Engineering communities, to influence a broad range of the Engineers.

Operational Effectiveness Control

Control functions to ensure that products and services are built to provide the required levels of availability, functional capability and non-functional capability, and systemic operational issues are addressed in the design lifecycle.Lead the development of metrics to track and measure the delivery and impact of engagement programs, and share insights with the CIO, COO and ExCo.Ensure adherence to all set governance and policies.Ensure delivery of activities within owned budget and actively find ways to standardise and streamline activities to make them more cost effective.
