CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Principal Engineer - Water/Wastewater to join our Water/Wastewater Team in Ambler, PA; Bethlehem, PA; or Wilmington, DE.

YOUR IMPACT

Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community’s well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects. We offer full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.

 

The Principal Engineer - Water/Wastewater has considerable engineering knowledge in their respective field and may provide leadership for their work group based on their extensive experience. The individual in this role is responsible for providing guidance and oversight to multiple teams working on numerous projects. The Principal Engineer oversees all phases of a technical project from conception and design to completion, while providing engineering guidance to other departments and training new engineering staff.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredMinimum 15 years’ progressive engineering experience requiredExpert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline(s) with a proven ability to practically apply best practicesProficiency with MS Office software requiredUnderstands QA/QC procedures and basic business practices as well as laws related to engineeringAdvanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)Completely familiar with and advocates for the company’s standards for quality control and complianceAbility to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent knowledge of fundamentals in specialty areasAn active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferredProven ability to lead a team SALARY RANGE:

$130,000 - $150,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
