**Job Overview:** The Principal Enterprise Architect proactively and holistically guides enterprise leaders, product managers, product owners, and distributed product delivery teams through transformation and optimization initiatives. This role supports the formulation of business strategy, outcomes, and capabilities, focusing on both business and IT strategy and enterprise architecture of the organization as a whole.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Strategic Guidance:** Lead the analysis of business and operating models, market trends, and the technology industry to determine their potential impact on the enterprise’s business strategy, direction, and architecture.
+ **Transformation Initiatives:** Proactively identify and help the organization respond to disruptive forces. Understand the business’s economic and financial levers that are susceptible to digital transformation to effectively guide investment decisions.
+ **Collaboration:** Work closely with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of enterprise architecture initiatives.
+ **Business Strategy:** Support the formulation of business strategy, outcomes, and capabilities. Help the organization achieve targeted business outcomes related to growing revenue, optimizing costs, mitigating risks, and improving sustainability.
+ **Project Oversight:** Review, assess, and approve project proposals for alignment with enterprise standards. Ensure compliance with technical and business requirements.
**Required Skills and Attributes:**
+ **Leadership:** Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and influence enterprise leaders and teams.
+ **Analytical Thinking:** Excellent analytical skills to assess business and operating models, market trends, and technology impacts.
+ **Communication:** Effective communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensure alignment across the organization.
+ **Technical Expertise:** In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools. Experience with CRM systems, mobile applications, and modern web technologies.
+ **Business Acumen:** Strong understanding of business processes, policies, and operations. Ability to recommend and assess the impact of changes that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
**Tools and Software Knowledge:**
+ **Enterprise Architecture Tools:** Familiarity with tools such as LeanIX, Rational Rose, Systems Architect, and other EA Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.
+ **Modeling Tools:** Proficiency in using modeling tools like Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and other office suite tools for creating and maintaining architectural documentation.
+ **AI and Machine Learning:** Knowledge of AI and machine learning tools, including deep learning and translation software like DeepL.
+ **Project Management Tools:** Experience with project management tools and platforms to manage and maintain enterprise architecture, IT landscapes, and project backlogs
**Additional Responsibilities and Skills for this Architect Role:**
+ **Supports Business Strategy Formulation:** Assess disruptive forces impacting the organization and the economic and financial levers susceptible to transformation and optimization. Facilitate business strategy development, including economic and political analysis, opportunity identification, technology and business cases, and business innovation portfolio development.
+ **Enables Organizational Change and Investments:** Collaborate with and facilitate enterprise stakeholders involved in strategy formulation and innovation. Construct deliverables that demonstrate how to move the business toward realizing its strategic goals and targeted business outcomes.
+ **Facilitates Business and Operating Model Design and Innovation:** Work with business and IT executives to describe and understand their business and operating models. Ensure the business and operating models fit together by showing the interdependencies between components.
+ **Aligns Business and IT:** Help business leaders, business units, and lines of business executives with design thinking, business modeling, ecosystem modeling, innovation management, IT investment analysis, and operating model design.
+ **Forges Customer Centricity:** Transform the organizational approach to innovation by advocating for the creation of cross-functional or fusion teams and using flexible approaches such as design thinking.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, business architecture, or a related field.
+ Working knowledge of EA Tools and Frameworks. Specifically SAP LeanIX.
+ Proven track record of leading successful transformation and optimization initiatives.
+ Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) are a plus.
**Pay Range:** **$153,525.00** - **$204,700.00**
