Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Facilities Planner to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be on site in Palmdale, CA.
Primary Duties will include:
Responsible for construction project work planning and schedulingDevelop and maintain the master project schedule for all facilities construction projectsProblem-solving skills necessary to planning and coordinating construction projects and moves to implement the work in a planned, organized, effective mannerCollaboration skills to work with multiple disciplines and work stylesCoordinate with all stakeholders as necessary to ensure efficient construction project activity executionSelf-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision, ability to multitask and exercise good judgment, with good follow-up skillsActs as primary contact for office and project planning team and internal customersEstablishes milestones and monitors adherence to master design and campus plansIdentifies problems and develops solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing project scopeSupport the Project Managers assigned to the project and is the main contact for furniture, fixtures, and office equipmentBasic Qualifications for Principal Facilities Planner (Level 3):
Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a Master’s Degree with 3 years of related experience or a High School Diploma/GED with 9 years of experience in facilities maintenanceExperience planning or executing activities, such as planning maintenance and construction work for facilities infrastructure and/or production equipmentProject management or planning experienceAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:

Salary Range: $91,200.00 - $136,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
