Principal Financial Analyst
A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Principal Financial Analyst at MKS Instruments, you will partner with the Irvine Finance Team, R&D, Operations, Product line management and other functions to identify and drive process improvements, partner with product management to provide cost analysis in support of projects and support monthly close process and ad-hoc projects as needed. This role will report to the Business Unit Senior Controller. You Will Make an Impact By: + Using solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results and drive improvement + Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards + Developing strong business partnership, project management, and financial modeling - partnering heavily with R&D, Operations, Product line management, and other functions + Leading change, provide creative solutions, and influence multi-discipline teams with data, analytical reasoning, and strong influencing skills + Interfacing effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment with all levels of the organization + Supporting monthly close process and ad-hoc projects as needed Skills You Bring: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related business field + 5+ years of progressive operations finance. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. + A self-starting personality; ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently; ability to work independently and make decisions. + Excellent organization and problem-solving skills. + Detail-oriented, process-oriented, control-oriented mindset. + Computer skills including knowledge of financial applications and ERP systems. Compensation and Benefits: Salary Pay Range: $97,300 - $180,700 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
