As a principal full stack developer at Level20, you’ll apply both your technical and entrepreneurial skills to lead ambitious large-scale projects within this moderate to highly technical and complex consumer-facing SaaS product. As the technical lead, on a cross-functional team, you’ll spend time guiding collaborative technical design, prioritizing and delegating development tasks, as well as, supporting, mentoring, and coaching a small team of experienced developers. You’ll provide technical leadership and oversight of the build process, including identifying opportunities to scale, supporting the evaluation of vendors, and mitigating risks to achieve successful outcomes. You’ll also communicate progress from initiation through completion and deliver against program timelines and goals.

This is a hybrid role in downtown Cleveland, OH (Office Location: 800 W St Clair Ave STE 200, Cleveland, OH 44113) with free parking. Work-from-home days are possible for this position (Monday and Friday).

Must-have qualifications 

Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and minimum of eight years of work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.In lieu the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and a minimum of ten years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.

Preferred skills

Proven ability to lead complex, highly technical build-from-scratch projects as a coach and contributor on a cross-functional team; experience ensuring seamless integrations, timely delivery, designing detailed plans, identifying risks, and removing blockersDemonstrated expertise in Node with other server-side programming (C#, Java, Python) and GraphQLDemonstrated expertise in AWS and PostgreSQL with other database technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL)Familiarity with entity relationship design and modeling in distributed systems Demonstrated expertise in React with other JavaScript ES6 concepts and use within a modern JavaScript-based framework such as Vue or Angular

Compensation

$148,000-$178,000/year depending on position level and experienceGainshare bonus up to 50% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
