Principal Full Stack Engineer (GenAI Platforms)

Targeting candidate that can work Hybrid from one of the following locations: Charlotte, NC, Johnston, RI, Phoenix, AZ, or Westwood, MA offices.  We are also open to remote.

The Enterprise Data platform team is seeking for an energetic and driven Principal Full Stack Software Engineer who will play a crucial role in building scalable enterprise platforms well aligned with overall technology strategy and onboarding multiple business use cases.

In this role , you will develop and maintain secure and scalable platform and applications, that will support our Generative AI platforms and enhance customer experience. Primary responsibilities include

In this role, you will be a key contributor in building GenAI services & systems that connect complex data ecosystems and AI/ML models to solve real-world challengesThe focus of this specific position will be GenAI platforms and capabilities including but not limited to semantic search, prompt & tooling library, workflow management & orchestration, LLM gateway, real-time/proactive response generation, etcDeveloping API-driven micro-services that combine into large and complex platformsDevelop automation, processes, and tools designed(Principal) to make our services simpler and more robustCommunication: Translate complex findings into understandable insights and present them to peers, leadership, and business stakeholdersEnsure Data Scientist/ML Engineer experiences align within team strategy and requirements by collaborating with stakeholders.MLOPs: establish SDLC and SRE best practices to ensure stable operations of production AI systemsParticipate in troubleshooting, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis activitiesAdvise management on service onboarding strategies and executionTechnical Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, efficacy, and timelinessDefine project roadmaps, establish feature backlogs, and lead a small team of ML engineers for implementation.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

7+ years in Python, Java or equivalent programming languages5+ years on cloud providers such as Azure/GCP/AWS3+ years of experience building GenAI services & platforms eg adapting models, build RAG pipelinesFamilarity with AI/ML Frameworks such as Pytorch/Tensor flowBuild services using FASTAPI/Flask/Django7+ years’ experience working with a wide variety of backend data systems such as snowflake streaming platform like kafka, building data pipelines ,preparing data setsExperience with DevSecOps flows leveraging technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Docker containers, Kubernetes, EKS and AKS, Datadogm PrometheusExperience writing Libraries and Tools10 years of experience in IT, preferably at least 2 years in cloudBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required, along with a high technical competency to perform the needed responsibilities.Masters In computer scienceCertifications by cloud providers

Hours per Week: 40Work Schedule: Monday-Friday

Pay Transparency

We are open to market-rate discussion for candidates with relevant GenAI platform experience. The typical salary range for this position is $160,000 - $ 193,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
