About Cognizant’s Communications Media and Technology Practice:

At Cognizant CMT - a cross functional team comprised of Delivery Leads, Product Managers, Architects, embedded developers, manual testers, performance testers and automation testers, builds higher quality cutting edge software solutions for clients in cable industry across the globe. Across our US offices or within client development sites, our Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Working in Cognizant CMT group, provides developers and testers consistent opportunities to drive excellence in technology while growing their exposure to fast paced and ever-changing cable industry landscape.

Location: Remote (Boston, MA & Mason, OH)

Responsibilities:

· Should have worked as an Enterprise / Technology / Lead Architect for medium / small scale enterprises.

o Expertise cutting across App / Network / Security / Platform architecture.

o Expertise cutting across CxO or one level below discussions on Tech thought leadership items.

o Worked in customer facing roles in billed assignments.

o Reviewing and owning Solution Architectures correctness from framework / process solidification perspectives

o Owning Technology Governance tower – Defining Engineering excellence parameters for customers against SDLC phases

o Hands-on large scale proposal experience on owning end-to-end solution. Should have presented the proposal solution to client teams.

o Demonstrated thought leadership or consulting based “pull through” engagements creations in the last few years.

o Solutioning experience in Enterprise Integration cutting across up-stream / down-stream applications and technically disparate systems.

o Knowledge of integrations with enterprise cots products like Salesforce, SAP, Pega etc.

· AI and ML expertise

o Should have worked hands-on in setting up ML services on public cloud and delivering ML based solutions.

o Should have 3 to 5 years of experience in AI, ML and at least 1 year in GenAI leveraging cloud based GenAI services.

o Should have through knowledge of end-to-end deployment of GenAI solutions to customers cutting across the industry prevalence of GenAI.

o Should have hands-on experience in prompt engineering, maintaining prompt libraries, managing GenAI delivered code (filtering, avoiding duplicates etc.)

o Should have created large scale PoVs or PoCs and presented to senior client teams.

o Should be able to define GenAI adoption roadmap for client industries based on their Enterprise needs.

· Cloud and Cloud Native expertise

o Should be multi-cloud certified in architecture space – at least 2 (AWS – GCP – Azure)

o Should have another tech certification – against Data or Big Data or AI or any other industry at architect level.

o Before hitting EA should have done hands-on Architecture work on platform, security and data with the public cloud providers for at least 5 years.

· Career progression

o Should have a Java or .NET (preferably Java) based career progression before hitting Architect role.

· Industry experience

o Preferably having one or two patents or have published white papers in previous organizations.

o Industry experience preferably in Media, Communications, or Info services

Qualifications:

· Should have worked hands-on in setting up ML services on public cloud and delivering ML based solutions.

· Should be able to define GenAI adoption roadmap for client industries based on their Enterprise needs.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until October 18th, 2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $95,500.00 to $158,600.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
