This role will be performed ONSITE in our Collins Aerospace location in Cedar Rapids, IA.

What YOU Will Do:

The primary responsibility for this position is providing site level project support with an emphasis in automation. This position will also have responsibilities in the following areas:

Program, integrate, and validate/verify new manufacturing equipmentSubject matter expert on manufacturing processes including equipment, layouts, work sequence, workflow, work instructions, and procedures Identify process improvements opportunities using analysis, modeling, benchmarking, research, etc.Conduct studies on cost control, productivity, inventory, and production record systems Standard work in areas such as process documentation, preventative maintenance, and validation/verificationStrategic plans for allocation of resources, materials, and personnel to establish maximum utilization Project cost estimates and cost benefit analysisReview processes and work to eliminate risks related to quality, safety, and producibilityManage moderately sized projects or processesUse various software packages to maintain and update documents and records

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
