Your primary responsibility is to design and oversee complex IT systems that align with Blue Cross organizational goals. They analyze existing infrastructure, plan improvements, and ensure systems meet security and performance standards. Key responsibilities include translating business needs into technical solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing expert guidance on IT infra should decisions.

**What You Will Do**
+ Design and implement infrastructure services that align with the organization’s technology strategy.
+ Deliver technology solutions that are stable, simple, secure, and resilient.
+ Analyze existing systems to ensure they adhere to established standards and meet performance requirements.
+ Develop and document new standards and patterns for infrastructure services.
+ Continuously evaluate engineering implementations and make recommendations for improvements.
+ Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms to meet business needs.
+ Provide technical guidance and support to IT teams and business stakeholders.
+ Identify and review risks associated with infrastructure services and propose mitigation strategies.
+ Review potential retirement opportunities for outdated systems and plan for their elimination.

+ Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
+ 8+ years of experience in related field.
+ In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.
**Salary Range**
At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.
