Wood are currently recruiting for a Principal Instrument Engineer on a Contract basis working outside IR35. Hybrid working will be required 3 days per week in Aberdeen office.

Provide Instrument engineering support to the Client contract as required
Execute assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, client and project standards
Originate and check Instrument engineering deliverables as required on Client Contract within budget and schedule
Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments and promote to direct reports.
Manage discipline CTR’s, provide input to estimates, proposals, plans and progress.
Develop calculation packages as required
Perform site / client office visits if required
Present and describe engineering solutions and concept competently to both technical and non-technical audience
Organise, plan and coordinate own work as well as the resources assigned on a specific project.
Support quality & technical assurance activities as required.
