Principal (Insurance Broker)



Your role as a Principal Broker is to manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients from our Sydney CBD office.  This role will serve as a senior point of contact for day-today communications and strategic account management, focusing on retention, growth and profitability of client accounts. 


At Marsh Private, we specialise in providing insurance solutions for high-net-worth individuals and their families.  As a private client insurance broker, you will play a crucial role in managing and servicing our prestigious clientele.  Your primary focus will be on delivering personalised insurance solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our high-net-worth clients.


You will effectively manage a portfolio of existing High Net Worth clients, achieving retention and growth targets, while maintaining overall profitability and client satisfaction. You will also strengthen client relationships as a trusted advisor, as well as develop and convert new business opportunities. Additionally, you will expand the range of products and services held by existing clients.



We will count on you to:

Act as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients, providing expert guidance on insurance solutions tailored to their unique needs.Set and monitor performance metrics for client retention and growth, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior management to ensure the deliver of exceptional service and client satisfaction.Assess and mitigate risks associated with client accounts, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.Develop and maintain a fluency in the Company's various service offerings to enrich work performed and develop sales capabilities.


What you need to have: 

Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or Equivalent)Minimum 5 years of insurance broking experience, ideally as a private client insurance broker, with a proven track record of managing high-net-worth clients.Superior customer service and communication skills, with the ability to articulate concepts clearly and effectively.Strong Literacy and Numeracy SkillsSuperior attention to detail with strong multi-tasking abilitiesAbility to priorities and organise own workloadWillingness to build long lasting relationships with clientsHigh level of professionalism and integrity, with strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused mindset.
