Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (Hybrid)

As a Principal Integration Engineer, you will assume a pivotal role in driving the design, development, and operation of our enterprise integration platform. You will provide technical leadership and strategic direction, collaborating closely with business and IT teams to deliver robust and scalable integration solutions.

Your expertise will be instrumental in defining and implementing integration best practices, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing system performance.  

In addition to hands-on technical contributions, you will mentor and guide the integration team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. By combining deep technical knowledge with a strong understanding of business needs, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision making and achieving organisational objectives. 

Your responsibilities: 

Champion the Integration Platform: Collaborate with business leaders to understand integration needs and translate them into actionable technical requirements. Advocate for the platform as a strategic enabler of business goals 

Stakeholder Management & Advocacy: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across business units, engineering, and architecture. Secure buy-in for integration initiatives and champion the platform's value proposition in streamlining data exchange and improving operational efficiency 

Technical Leadership: Act as the integration technical lead on key JM projects and programmes, designing integration solutions with architecture and providing strategic direction on integration practices and methodologies 

Platform Security & Performance: Support a secure, scalable, and high-performing integration platform. Continuously monitor key metrics and proactively identify areas for optimisation in performance, security, and data integrity 

Technical Debt Management: Implement strategies to minimize technical debt within the platform. Support quality and seamless data exchange through code reviews, standardization, and adoption of best practices in integration design and development 

Component Reusability: Identify opportunities for reusable integration components and patterns across projects to improve efficiency and scalability 

Knowledge Management & Continuous Learning: Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the platform team 

Inspire High-Performing Teams: Build Mentor and coach team members to achieve their full potential in integration design, development, and support 

 

Requirements for the role: 

Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience working as an engineer, with strong integration background and experience. Demonstrating integration technical leadership and subject matter expertise  

Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of Integration Services, (inc. Azure/ SAP), Azure API Management Services, API documentation tools, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment  

Matrix management structures and ways of working  

Designing, building, and implementing Integration solutions, through engaging relevant business, engineering, and architecture teams to drive solutions  

Creating, maintaining, and driving adoption of Integration best practices, guardrails, and standards, ensuring best practice maintained on the platform and technical debt minimised  

Defining and managing analytics (inc. error reporting, dashboards, and automated threshold-based alerts) for internal/ external consumption and for developers maintaining the APIs, helping ensure the support model is effective as possible  

Strong people influencing skills and stakeholder management skills 

How you will be rewarded: 

Salary range for this position is from 50 500 to 93 500 EUR per year depending on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. This role is also eligible to receive discretionary annual bonus that align with individual and company performance.
