This includes facilitating business process design workshops, gathering and synthesizing functional and technical requirements, analyzing data to support business cases for proposed projects and new technology investments, and supporting the operations of production business applications.
The BSA will serve as a relationship manager for the security and network infrastructure teams to help identify, scope, prioritize, and deliver their business technology initiatives. The BSA is also responsible for analyzing current issues and proposing solutions that balance cost with business benefits. This individual will combine strong business acumen with proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the business value of IT system investments, especially in the areas of infrastructure and security.
Systems Planning, Integration & Deployment:
+ Lead business process design sessions for the purpose of enhancing business operations and information flow through IT and Security Tools and systems.
+ Lead and execute system testing activities, including end-user acceptance testing, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.
+ Research software products and lead vendor evaluation / selection processes for IT business applications through a formal methodology.
+ Perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed IT systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
+ Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and implementation of Enterprise Security and Infrastructure initiatives, and enhancements to existing applications.
+ Create use-case models, requirements specifications, and interface diagrams to provide direction to system programmers.
+ Lead training, communications and change management efforts for implementation projects.
+ Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for deployment processes and security protocols
Systems Operations & Support:
+ Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in IT business systems across the enterprise.
+ Review and analyze the effectiveness of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
+ Monitor application SLAs and proactively partner with business and technical teams to provide ongoing support and systems / process improvements.
+ Provide thought leadership and guidance to other team members, both technical and business.

Education and Experience:
+ BA / BS, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience. Masters degree is a plus.
+ 6-10 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst
+ Consulting experience or background strongly preferred
+ US Citizenship is Required for this role.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
+ Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including networks, servers and storage systems
+ Knowledge of security principles, vulnerability management, and best practices, including risk management and mitigation
+ Proven track record of working on projects involving the implementation and management of IT infrastructure and security tools (Crowdstrike, Z-Scaler)
+ Hands-on experience with security frameworks and protocols, such as: ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, DPIA, Third party risk management, or similar
+ Compliance and regulatory knowledge to relevant laws, regulations and standards (GDPR, SOX, FISMA, PCIDSS, etc.)
+ Should be comfortable working with large data sets (data analysis, data mapping and conversion) and Business Intelligence tools
+ Experience in the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on a variety of technologies and platforms.
+ Must be able to translate business requirements into well-formed technical and system requirements.
+ Experience performing cost-benefit and ROI analyses
+ Experience in project management and the ability to oversee projects from inception to completion
+ Experience with modeling business processes, data flows, and workflow processes
Customer Management Skills:
+ Excellent communication (oral and written), relationship building, influence and negotiation skills with both technical and business resources.
+ Experience working with customers in a variety of roles / levels from junior developers to executives at a VP and higher level
Other Competencies:
+ Deltek is a fast-paced environment; the ability to multitask on different projects at the same time and to react deftly to changes in business priorities is critical
+ Experience in coordinating multiple priorities, managing conflicts where needed
+ Must have ability to identify and drive change management from a process and technical solution perspective

This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
