Kforce has a client that is seeking a Principal Java Software Engineer in Jersey City, NJ. Duties Include: * Principal Java Software Engineer will develop and expose RESTful APIs to integrate with frontend systems * Leverage AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) to deploy and scale applications * Build and integrate real-time data processing solutions with Kafka * Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers * Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently * Implement security and data privacy best practices across all systems * As a Principal Java Software Engineer, you will contribute to architectural decisions and assist in planning the technical roadmap * Optimize systems for speed, reliability, and scalability * Collaborate in an Agile environment and contribute to sprint planning and development
