Principal Laboratory Technician

The position
You will play a key role in ensuring the qualification, maintenance, and documentation of laboratory equipment. You will collaborate with scientists and professionals to test and qualify new equipment, ensuring compliance with GSP and GMP standards. Additionally, you will contribute to global discussions on equipment selection for new methods and, over time, support international sites with equipment transfers.  


Key Responsibilities:
•    Conduct qualification tests for new types of equipment in collaboration with scientists and professionals.  
•    Ensure high-quality qualification of equipment previously untested at Novo Nordisk.  
•    Maintain, test, and calibrate GSP and GMP equipment in Bagsværd and Gentofte laboratories.  
•    Develop and establish complete equipment documentation packages.  
•    Participate in discussions with scientists regarding equipment selection for new methods.


Qualifications
We expect you to have an education as a Laboratory Technician (Laborant) and the following qualifications:
•    Experience with equipment qualification (computerized equipment).  
•    Strong understanding of GMP.  
•    Experience with equipment maintenance, calibration, and performance confirmation.  
•    Experience with lab software like LIMS and TIMS.  
•    Excellent communication skills in Danish, English, or both

•    Have strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze challenges and find practical solutions  
•    Have a good attention to detail and strong organizational skills

 

About the department
The Analytical Equipment team is part of the Analytical Projects and New Technologies department, supporting equipment activities across several development areas and global sites. We qualify equipment for Process Analytical Technology, Container Closure Integrity, and New Analytical Technologies. Our team provides expert knowledge on qualification and troubleshooting of HPLC/UPLC, Raman, and other laboratory equipment. This position will be for the Raman and other types of equipment.
