What You Will Do:

Integrate multi-level security and insider threat mitigation technologies

Develop and maintain infrastructure and service management operations

Leverage automation to streamline and secure technical processes

Implement and regularly update disaster recovery plans

Conduct capacity planning, optimize system performance and service availability

Administer backups, diagnose and remediate backup errors

Experience with strict access control to networks and IT infrastructure

Employ enterprise system security standards and system hardening techniques

Partner with application/project/security teams and vendors to plan, design, and implement new IT infrastructure

Create and maintain technical and detailed design documentation

Qualifications You Must Have: 

Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Linux and/or Windows systems administration experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience implementing information security compliance standards and policies

Experience with Splunk, Tenable, Ivanti products

Experience with server virtualization (e.g. VMware ESXi) platforms

ystems deployment, administration, performance tuning, and monitoring

Automation via scripting

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Multi-tenancy architecture knowledge

NetApp FAS and HPE MSA hardware and software

Experience with Window Servers, Active Directory and Group Policy

Network and infrastructure services such as domain controllers, global catalogs, DNS, and DHCP

Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery practices

Experience with datacenter concepts and technologies

Cloud computing (AWS, Azure)

CompTIA Security+ certification or other industry-recognized certifications relevant to a Linux System Administrator

BASH Scripting

ITIL Foundations and/or ITIL Service Operations

The salary range for this role is 90,000 USD - 182,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
