About the Role

This position is for a Principal Manufacturing Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience. The position requires a self-motivated individual with a strong desire to succeed/excel.  As a Principal Engineer, the candidate is expected to take a leading role in the planning and execution of manufacturing design and testing for professional audio equipment. This individual should have a strong, positive attitude and the ability to easily multitask and provide advice/support to other engineers as well as technical support personnel. They should possess strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

What You Will Do

Work with HW/FW design teams to implement changes to improve product manufacturability.Participate in schematic reviews and FW architecture meetings.Create and maintain end-of-line test specification for suite of professional audio products.Assist in creating processes and procedures to help implementation in manufacturing facility.Develop and maintain “best practices” for DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) and DFT (Design for Test).Work with a team of engineers to bring products to the professional audio industry.

What You Need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.A high level of electrical engineering test skills including usage of various forms of test/measurement equipment.Must be able to work closely with design engineers.Proficient in Microsoft office suite tools.Ability to work in a team environment and meet project deadlines.A strong desire to exceed/excel in an environment with high-quality engineers is a must.In-depth experience with automation software/programming

What is Nice to Have

Experience in consumer and professional audio and video.Experience testing and working with high power electronics.Experience testing and working with high-speed digital hardware.Familiar with hardware test automation tools and relevant scripting languages.Knowledge of audio-specific test hardware such as Audio Precision.Experience using Jira (Zephyr)Proficiency in Spanish, Written and Verbal

USD 100,125 - USD 146,850
