Position Overview:

As the lead for the government NTIA NOFO2 SRFA1 (ORAN) engagement, this position requires deep technical understanding of state of art open RAN interfaces (e.g. open fronthaul) and industry standards is required and the position requires the individual to possess and apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and implement architecture for ORAN solution including open front haul and O1/O2 for non-realtime RIC (radio intelligent controller) within AT&T ecosystem.Completes significant evaluation and technical assessment of vendor implementations to ensure compliance to standards and interoperability in the AT&T ecosystem.Provides critical subject matter expertise and hands -on experience for the direction of ORAN in the AT&T network.

Qualifications:

Extensive industry architectural experience is required to be able to work independently and across organizations. Be able to grasp complex technical problem domain and solution it using industry standards and guidelines, and proof of conceptsAs the lead for radio hardware and Passive intermodulation (PIM) cancellation solution from chief technology organization (CTO), this position requires extensive radio design, radio frequency (RF) and wireless system expertise.

Education and Years of Experience:

PhD in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Masters in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field from an approved university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Our Principal Member of Technical Staff, earns between $160,900.00 - $270,400.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
