Principal Outcomes Research Regional Director - LATAM

Job Description

We are looking for exceptional talent who are passionate about real-world evidence data and committed to making a difference for patients through outcomes research for the position of Principal Outcomes Research Regional Director in Latin America.

Under the guidance of the Executive Director, the incumbent has the primary responsibilities for developing value evidence strategy and evidence generation on a regional basis, specifically focusing on Institutional Partnerships in key countries of Latin America.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that valuable insights and data are shared across the organization, ultimately improving patient access to our current and future therapeutics.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and disseminate a portfolio of prioritized RWE/outcomes research studies and activities linked to value and implementation (V&I) goals in Latin America across diverse therapeutic areas focusing on Oncology, vaccines, and new products.  

Provide input to V&I plans, and outcomes research strategies, ensuring alignment with the needs and priorities of Latin American countries.

Leverage knowledge of regional data sources and strategic research in disease burden, cost studies, and health economics.

Identify and engage with key institutions in the healthcare sector across Latin America, seeking opportunities for new strategic collaborations with public and private institutions and other medical organizations to conduct Real-World Evidence (RWE) research.

Expand and maintain strategic partnership to conduct evidence generation and synthesis studies that are used to inform the value evidence strategy and economic models

Monitor and report on the progress of partnerships and studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards in all research activities.

Requirements For Education, Experience And Skills

5+ years post-PhD or 7+ years post-master´s degree of relevant experience in the areas of medicine, epidemiology, outcomes research, pharmacy administration, or health economics

Demonstrated expertise in the design and implementation of clinical, epidemiological, or health economic studies

A track record of scientific presentations and publications in peer-review journals

Proven experience in partnership development, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and strategic thinking skills

Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese

Preferred Experience and Skills:

People management experience

Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry, consultancy, or relevant organizations

A track record of research or health management projects for public and private institutions in Brazil or Mexico or multiple countries of Latin America

Good understanding of HTA/reimbursement and market access needs in key markets of Latin America
