Principal PMT, Amazon Lists
Our team within Amazon's Core Shopping org helps millions of Amazon customers effortlessly discover, save, evaluate, and purchase products they love. Specifically, this role is on the Amazon Lists team - our team owns the Lists experience on Amazon - this includes Amazon Wishlist, Alexa Lists, and Grocery lists for all customers globally.

We are re-imagining the Lists experience on Amazon - making it simple, fun, and easy-to-use. We help customers turn impromptu shopping ideas into purchases through features like add and shop keywords where customers can add keywords to their Lists like “luxury espresso maker” and then find items related to their keywords to purchase. Finally, we make mobile shopping feel modern through intuitive gestures and mobile-first patterns. We also see massive opportunities to leverage Generative AI to surface personalized shopping lists to customers and help customize them.

We operate at massive scale worldwide, connecting with all Amazon customers on their shopping journeys, building across a full-stack of technologies to not just deliver world class distributed systems, but also best-in-class experiences and platforms. Our vision is for customers to visit Amazon daily, to be inspired, entertained, and to shop, with an experience tailored to them and their interests.

We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager - Technical to build the next generation of Lists for Amazon. The opportunity is big – there are millions of List users everyday – and we want to grow that number substantially by over-hauling the way people use Lists to shop, share, and collaborate. This is a principal-level role given the large potential scope of impact, ambiguity, breadth of stakeholder engagement, and high visibility.

In this role, you will drive product definition, work directly with designers and engineers to define the customer experience, and you’ll manage the on-going performance of the List business. It’s truly an end-to-end product management job. It’s a role requiring a deep understanding of our customers, and strong problem-solving skills; the ideal candidates for the role will be those that love to combine existing data with fresh, new ideas to create the best experience for our customers and our business.
