Principal PMT, DEX
Amazon
Description
Are you interested in joining an innovative team that is at the forefront of solving complex business problems? For millions of customers worldwide, the Amazon name is synonymous with delivery – and the Delivery Experience (DEX) team provides those customers with innovative ways to get what they want and need, enabling the choices they make on every order, every day. We combine massive customer impact with retail invention, solving huge business and technical challenges along the way.
We are hiring a Principal Product Manager – Tech to lead the Amazon Stores Regionalization initiative. A major innovation called out in the recent Amazon Shareholder Letter and earnings reports, Regionalization shifted our operations from a national fulfillment network where we fulfill any order from any building to a set of interconnected regions where we strive to fulfill customer demand from in-region buildings. The project comprises both the network changes and the resulting CX changes we need to build to help customers discover in-region inventory and ensure regionalization improves the overall CX of our stores. As a leader of Regionalization, you will drive this critical strategic initiative, bringing teams from across the organization and around the globe together to define, build, and deliver on the program’s vision, improve our store experience for customers, and drive resounding business impact.
The Principal PM-T is responsible for developing Regionalization’s long-term vision and strategy in connecting backend optimization systems and customer facing applications, as well as CX innovation in categories and marketplaces. You will define the goals, strategy, and KPIs, align senior leadership (s-team) to your vision and execution plan, and collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, operators, designers, and product and program managers to bring it to life.
The ideal candidate for this high-profile position has high customer obsession, strong influencing and engagement skills, the ability to dive deep and quickly get up to speed on a diverse set of technical and business challenges, and a successful track record of setting the vision for and driving large, cross-functional initiatives to completion. You must be able to lead by influence and effectively collaborate with product, program, operations, design, and tech teams and executive stakeholders. You are an excellent written and verbal communicator and can effectively communicate ideas and information and drive decision-making for audiences up to and including SVPs.
