Principal Process Engineer
•                     Location: Brisbane CBD
•                     Indicative assignment length: 12-month contract

The role

Are you a seasoned Process Engineer with a passion for delivering innovative solutions in the resources sector?

We're looking for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team and take the lead on cutting-edge projects in critical minerals and rare earth extraction for our global client who provides comprehensive services throughout the mining project lifecycle, from exploration and feasibility studies to design, construction, and closure planning.

In this role, you will:

Engage directly with clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring project success. Showcase exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, building trust and collaboration across stakeholders. Lead and manage Feasibility Studies and EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) projects. Apply your expertise to commodities such as gold, copper, molybdenum, uranium, lead, silver, zinc, zircon, rare earths, and critical minerals.

What you'll need to succeed

12–15+ years of experience in process engineering, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
Strong background in critical minerals or rare earth extraction.
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to drive projects from concept to completion.
A background working in the contractor space – we are not seeking candidates currently on the owner side.
