Principal Product Consultant - Guidewire

Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Principal Product Consultant – Guidewire to join the team of IT professionals in a role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are in search of an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver Guidewire ClaimCenter and ContactManager solutions for clients. Customize and configure Guidewire products to meet specific client requirements. Provide authoritative mentorship on standard methodologies for using Guidewire in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct technical feasibility analysis, POCs, and designs. Advise and serve as the primary contact for the configuration and integration team during development. Ensure solution designs meet product conformance and consider future upgrade impacts. Offer technical knowledge on configuration, assessing the impact and complexity of business capabilities. Review the business approach for Claims Processing at all stages and provide technical feasibility and recommendations in Guidewire. Support development, technical governance, design review, code review, and code merge. Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Conduct detailed testing and validation of Guidewire implementations to ensure functionality and performance. Train and mentor client teams on the effective use of Guidewire products. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all project phases. Find opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure detailed project execution. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to collaborators. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. Champion positive relationships with clients to ensure long-term happiness and success

Required Qualifications

Extensive experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and ContactManager. Deep knowledge of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. Proven track record to work collaboratively in a matrix environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Successful track record in technical implementation and management. Proficiency in customizing and configuring Guidewire products. Skilled in training and mentoring client teams. Competent in developing and maintaining project documentation. Proactive in identifying and addressing project challenges. Committed to delivering high-quality solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for the position is between $154,000 – $181,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
