About the Team

At Williams-Sonoma Inc. (WSI), we are passionate about creating an elevated digital experience for our customers. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager, Mobile App to join our team and lead the development and execution of our mobile app strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a mobile app experience that connects e-commerce, in-home design, in-store experiences, gift registry, and content across all WSI brands. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and product managers to bring your vision to life.

 

About the Role 

At Williams-Sonoma Inc. (WSI), we are passionate about creating an elevated digital experience for our customers. We are looking for a Principle Product Manager Mobile App  to join our team and lead the development and execution of our mobile app strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a mobile app experience that connects e-commerce, in-home design, in-store experiences, gift registry, and content across all WSI brands. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, and product managers to bring your vision to life.

 

Responsibilities 

Develop and execute the mobile app strategy for WSI Collaborate with product managers and designers, engineers to deliver exceptional customer experiences through our mobile app  Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product strategy, development, and launch plans Define and prioritize product features, requirements, and roadmap based on customer insights, market trends, and business objectives Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including e-commerce, in-home design, in-store, gift registry, and content teams, to ensure a unified mobile app experience Manage product budgets and timelines to ensure delivery on time and on budget Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth Guide a team of Mobile App Product Managers on strategy and execution 

 

Criteria

8+ years of experience in mobile app product development and management 3+ years of experience in the retail industry Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience  Strong understanding of the mobile app development lifecycle Experience with native mobile app development (iOS and Android) Experience with mobile app analytics and reporting Experience with agile development methodologies Experience with cloud-based mobile app development platforms Proven track record of launching successful products and driving business growth  Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse set of business and technology partners  This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional

The expected starting pay range for this position is $155,000 - $185,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
