The Cloud Security Customer Engineering Experience (CxE) team is looking for a Principal Product Manager to work in Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC) Customer Acceleration Team, whose mission is to help our customer successfully deploy and to drive usage of our Microsoft Defender for Cloud solution. As an MDC- CAT **Principal Product Manager,** you'll play an important role in shaping our security products engineering, enabling customers to protect themselves, and enabling Microsoft field to position and architect Microsoft Defender for Cloud solution. **Responsibilities** The role is a member of Microsoft Defender for Cloud CAT team and responsible gather and synthesize customer, partner, and Microsoft field product feedback and feature requests. Share product feedback with product engineering to continuously innovate product capabilities. To develop content to scale product deployment and to educate Microsoft field and partners to successfully position and architect our security solutions. The Principal Product Manager’s specific responsibilities include: + Domain Area Knowledge: 300 and 400 level proficiency in the following Microsoft Defender for Cloud plans: Threat Protection for AI workloads (Azure Open AI Service, Azure Machine Learning, Amazon Bedrock), Defender CSPM (including DevOps Security), Defender for APIs, and Multicloud. Possess a 200-level understanding of Defender for Cloud (all-up plans), good understanding of Defender for Cloud integration with Defender XDR solution. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and product engineering teams. Utilize your cloud security knowledge to enhance our Microsoft Defender security products and services, assisting customers in achieving and maintaining security by deploying our solutions effectively. + Advocate for our customers: Capture the voice of the customers and synthesize quantitative and qualitative feedback into actionable recommendations in a prioritized manner. Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
