We are looking for a skilled Principal Product Manager for our new cloud-native solution of the API, contract, and service simulation testing to improve customer experiences, generate new product ideas, and outline detailed product strategies. This business has great potential, and we need an experienced leader to drive it forward. In this role you will need to manage diverse teams spanning engineering and marketing, requiring both a strong technical background and excellent interpersonal skills.

Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch•Research customer experiences and demands, analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective•Outline a detailed product strategy, that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI•Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams•Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization•Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates the product and its features across primary market segments•Manage product road maps and releases•Acting as a product evangelist and representing the company at public events

Qualifications

As an ideal candidate, you will have a keen eye for gaps in product offerings and an innovative mindset to fill them. You’re a highly skilled market analyst with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of product production — from conception through release. You may already be a confident leader who has experience guiding cross-functional teams in the successful creation of products that improve customer experience and grow market share.
 

Product management experience in software development tools, testing platforms, or similar technical products Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies Experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle Track record in outbound product management, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and strategic product planning Experience in building and executing product go-to-market strategies Leadership experience in driving cross-functional initiatives Good communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail Ability to travel internationally for business purposes
