The **Principal Product Manager - Regulatory Compliance and Settings** will lead initiatives to address global compliance requirements, member controls, and settings while delivering impactful and seamless experiences. You will partner across Legal, Engineering, Product, and Design teams to build solutions that meet regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, DMA, DSA, CPRA) while fostering trust through transparency and controls. This role is pivotal in moving LinkedIn’s consent and settings platforms forward by establishing scalable systems, streamlining processes, and creating frameworks to manage both regulatory-driven changes and platform innovations. In addition to regulatory efforts, this role will focus on member-centric settings and controls, including account preferences, notifications, and more, ensuring intuitive and trustworthy user experiences. **Responsibilities** + **Lead consent and settings product experience** : Develop and drive strategies for consent and member controls, ensuring regulatory compliance and “member first” approach. + **Consent and settings** : Establish scalable systems and processes for consent and settings governance. Innovate and optimize member settings across all LinkedIn products, including account preferences and notifications. + **Manage Regulatory Challenges** : Build frameworks to address current and emerging regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, DSA, CPRA, AI Act). + **Cross-Functional Leadership** : Collaborate with Legal, Engineering, Product, and Design teams to embed compliance requirements and settings innovations into LinkedIn’s ecosystem. + **Metrics and Operational Excellence** : Define and track key metrics to assess system health, member satisfaction, and compliance readiness. Streamline processes for governance and data workflows. + **Mentorship and Leadership** : Mentor product managers and help shape the long-term vision of LinkedIn’s Trust organization. **Basic Qualifications** : + 8+ years of product management experience with a background in shipping products and services + Experience with online media and digital products + Knowledge of regulations (e.g., GDPR, CPRA, DSA, DMA) **Preferred Qualifications** : + Proven ability to lead, design and execute frameworks across complex requirements, varying business needs and technical infrastructures + Experience working with cross-functional teams to address regulatory and compliance needs + Strong technical skills and familiarity with backend systems, APIs, and efficient system design + Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory requirements into scalable, user-centric solutions + Strong leadership and collaboration skills with a track record of building high-performing teams + Passion for building trust with members and customers by ensuring the highest standards of privacy and compliance. + Experience with privacy-by-design principles and AI systems. **Suggested Skills:** + Privacy and Compliance Strategy + Cross-Functional Collaboration + Data Analysis and Metrics Development + Systems Thinking + Trust and Security LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $189,000 to $290,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
