We acquire videos from sellers, manufacturers, brands, vendors, influencers, publishers (like Consumer Reports), and customers and surface them across the worldwide Amazon website and app. Whether it's a product overview, unboxing, how to, or side by side comparison, we are responsible for surfacing helpful videos for every step in a customer’s shopping journey.
As a Principal Technical Product Manager in the video acquisition team, you will drive our video acquisition strategy and execution for influencer videos. You will stay abreast of the broader influencer ecosystem to bring transformational strategy into our influencer program. You will understand influencer goals and motivations and manage the video influencer product roadmap to best meet the unique needs of this dynamic creator type

Key job responsibilities
As a Principal Product Manager - Technical, you will be responsible for shaping the long-term vision and strategy for video influencer experiences across Amazon's worldwide site and app. To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following characteristics:

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
