Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

As a Principal Technical Product Manager on the Project Kuiper team, you will create and drive the product strategy, vision, and technology roadmap for mobility products for aviation, including the customer terminal, aircraft cabin connectivity, power, and system software. This role focuses on integrating satellite connectivity with onboard systems to deliver seamless passenger experience and airline operations. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, finance, and executive teams to envision, develop, and launch innovative aviation products and services.

A successful candidate will be both creative and highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers love. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy – with a proven track record of delivering successful aviation satellite communication products and services. Key job responsibilities
•Manage the entire product line life cycle from inception to launch
•Understand and articulate customer needs, conduct on-going customer research, leverage internal knowledge and expertise, and prioritize feature requirements
•Be a passionate advocate for the customer; provide the voice of the customer
•Inspire the team with the product vision, and work cross-functionally to bring the product to life
•Write detailed market and technical product requirements documents and define use cases, features, and KPIs and drive tradeoff discussions and decisions with the engineering development teams
•Serve as the technical product expert for aviation assisting marketing with press briefing, industry talks, and whitepapers and participating with business development in product and service discussions with customers
