Principal Product Manager - Trust Foundations (Integration, Actioning and Governance)

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. Serving a billion members worldwide, the Trust Foundations team is responsible for scalable infrastructure, APIs, and enforcement capabilities that enable LinkedIn to detect, prevent, and mitigate harm. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive the next evolution of Trust APIs, enforcement governance, and actioning capabilities that power LinkedIn’s Trust & Safety ecosystem. This is a high-impact, platform-focused role requiring deep expertise in Trust & Safety, developer platforms, and API ecosystems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and delivering critical enforcement infrastructure, ensuring that Trust signals, restrictions, and governance frameworks integrate seamlessly across all of LinkedIn’s products. The right candidate for this role: + Has Trust & Safety domain expertise, with a track record of building platform-level safety, moderation, or abuse-prevention solutions. + Has experience owning developer-facing products and APIs, ensuring robust platform interfaces, governance, and scalability. + Can drive multi-year, high-impact strategies, ensuring measurable improvements to LinkedIn’s ability to detect, mitigate, and prevent harm. + Operates with autonomy and influence, leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Legal, Policy, and Trust anti-abuse teams. + Excels at navigating complex cross-org dynamics, balancing business, policy, and technical constraints to ensure safety at scale. + This is an opportunity to lead a critical area of Trust infrastructure, shaping the future of enforcement, entity governance, and Trust API capabilities at LinkedIn. **Responsibilities:** + Define and drive the strategy for LinkedIn’s Trust integration infrastructure, ensuring that actioning capabilities, governance, and entity restrictions scale across the LinkedIn Ecosystem.. + Lead a multi-year platform evolution of Trust APIs, focusing on developer usability, integration efficiency, and enforcement standardization. + Oversee and enhance LinkedIn’s visibility and restriction capabilities (e.g., Blocking, Actioning, Filtering) to provide a consistent, entity-agnostic architecture across users, Pages, content, and other entities. + Improve the governance and auditability of enforcement actions, ensuring Trust’s decision-making systems are transparent, aligned with policy intent, and built for long-term regulatory compliance. + Drive alignment across Trust & Safety verticals, platform engineering, AI/ML, and surfaces to ensure Trust signals and enforcement mechanisms are fully leveraged. + Lead the expansion of LinkedIn’s transparency reporting capabilities to ensure clear, actionable insights on enforcement actions and their impact. + Influence executive leadership, engineering roadmaps, and cross-org investment strategies, ensuring that Trust’s enforcement and governance capabilities evolve ahead of emerging threats. **Basic Qualifications:** + 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3+ years focused on Trust & Safety, abuse prevention, or security-related products. + Experience working on API-heavy platforms or developer-facing products (e.g., building enforcement, moderation, or infrastructure APIs). + Technical understanding of how Trust platforms, detection pipelines, and enforcement systems operate. + Background in influencing at the executive level, driving multi-year strategic initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments. + Demonstrated experience aligning engineering, legal, policy, and operational teams in high-stakes, fast-moving product spaces. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in online safety and platform governance (e.g., DSA, transparency reporting, appeals). **Suggested Skills** : + Product Management + Technical Partnership + Trust & Safety LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $180,000 to $290,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
