Job Purpose
This role supports the Network Operations (DSO-DERMS) digital value stream, which drives development and implementation of digital products that ensure operation of the electric distribution network is safe, reliable, and optimized for the benefit of our customers.
These products and the load flexibility they enable are critical as the electric network becomes increasingly complex and constrained from deployment of DERs and electrification of heat and transportation. The goals of the DSO/DERMS value stream are to provide DER customers with a DER management ecosystem including connection options, flexible service offerings, and the decision support needed to effectively participate in flexibility markets and maximize ROI.
You will play a critical role in preparing the organization for a clean energy future. You will accomplish this through driving adoption of people, process and technology driven changes associated with DSO-DERMS capabilities, listed below.

Key Accountabilities (Inclusive but limited to):
Evolve and execute upon the network operations digital portfolio change management strategy, refining and adjusting in line with the program timeline and in response to effective measurement strategies you will develop and implement Analyze, develop and shape custom change plans and resource models, shaping change initiatives, through strong problem-solving creating proposals Transition all project stakeholder groups from project awareness to commitment to change their ways of working and fully adopt the changes brought about as a result of the DSO-DERMS capabilities whilst at the same time navigating all the other change within the organization. Work in partnership with consulting partners and contractors, as well as partnering with Business Strategists, Product Managers, Portfolio Managers – embedding yourself as a trusted thought leader in change enablement Use a data driven approach to assess, evaluate, measure and sustain the desired outcomes associated with the human side of change - adjusting and refining to optimize value realization and ROI Manage advocacy at the executive and stakeholder levels to develop buy-in for change
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree & 5+ years change management experience, ideally from a technology implementation and familiar with SAFe agile methodologies Project/Program Management and Change Management certifications highly desirable Strong stakeholder and engagement focused mindset, with an enthusiasm to look for and take on opportunities to be creative and innovative Self-starter able to spot, translate and develop emerging priorities into action, with high levels of business acumen Strong team collaborative ethos built on trust and respect Understand agile project delivery and how to execute and deliver change management within an agile delivery environment. Solid performance management background, having experience and of and recognizing the need for data driven metrics Ability to not just make sense of but thrive in ambiguity – providing frameworks and direction to enable others to come on a journey with you, Sound knowledge of the NY Business, with ideally a deeper appreciation of the Electric business Strong written communicator especially with ability to write articles, ppt decks, trainings, newsletters, briefings, social media style posts and tailor this written content to different audiences Well-developed self-planning and organization skills including ability to work interdependently, adjust to varying or unexpected changing conditions and shifting priorities with minimal direction.

Downstate NY Salary: $162,000 - $190,000 a year
Upstate NY Salary: $134,000 - $158,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
