Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring a Principal Project Management professional to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida. This is an individual contributor role, a non-manager role with no direct reports.
This position is for the role of a Program Integrator. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of program integrators within the Strike Program Integration Team, providing direct support to the Development Business Area. This individual contributor will work side by side with the Development Business Area Program Integration lead & senior management on program reporting, maintaining the strategic rhythm, staffing management, risk, issue, and opportunity management, preparing and/or presenting executive level presentations, and may be assigned to special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the business area, ensuring effective execution of the strategic rhythm (to include staffing management, earned value performance, risk, issue, and opportunity management, etc.) and business processes/strategies to meet organizational objectivesServes as liaison between program/project management and cross-functional teams, facilitating communication and collaborationAssesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectivesDevelops mechanisms for monitoring project progress for intervention and problem solving with program managers, cross-functional leads, and external customersPrepares senior management for internal & external meetings and reviews with relevant information/materialsSupports special projects, as needed, to improve business area executionKey Attributes

Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience in project management or operationsExperience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePointExperience managing multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with interfacing with all levels of employees and LeadershipActive secret or top-secret clearance (last investigation completed within last 6 years) and the ability to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR/SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience utilizing digital tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.Understanding of the Integrated Management Framework (IMF)Previous experience managing projects to successful closure; balancing cost, schedule, and technical requirements & priorities to achieve desired outcomePossesses Control Account Manager (CAM) Certification; demonstrated understanding of Earned Value Management principlesKnowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionallyProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similarStrong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills to senior leadershipAerospace and/or Defense Industry ExperienceSalary Range: $78,700.00 - $118,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
