As the Principal Engineer you will be responsible for configuration of internal IT applications based on the business requirements and imperatives. Provide day-to-day support to customers in relation to product implementation, customization, questions, and problems. May lead/mentor/guide a small team of engineers.
You will also provide in depth business process support to the business when providing technical solutions. As a Senior Engineer you will be expected to be hands on and enhance and develop Strategic and legacy applications using development platforms.

Your responsibilities:Contribute to strategy and roadmap for the platform, working closely with the Platform Lead and engineers, stakeholders, and business leaders to align the platform and product with the company's goals and objectives
Coordinate with business users and external vendors to manage and maintain all IT related systems
Responsible for translating business requirements into functional specifications for the technology solution / application. Work with system end-user and SMEs from different functions to understand needs, challenges & objectives
Develop applications/services to specifications in line with architecture technical standards
Build, and maintain the systems underlying the platform
Facilitate implementation of new technologies to support existing applications or create new applications using new technologies
Requirements for the role:Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Deep insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
Professional standards-based web development using ASP.Net, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript
.NET based language (C#, VB.Net)
Experience working in a structured development environment, using frameworks for designing (e.g. UML), building software, configuration management (e.g GIT), testing (e.g Selenium) and hosting solutions (AWS, Azure).
