**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Principal Quality Specialist** to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for implementing Quality Management Systems in Yanbu Industrial City and provide technical advice and guidance to the Royal Commission for Yanbu’s Environmental Protection and Control Department (RCY-EPCD) as needed.
Reports directly to Department Manager EPCD. Will support the department in daily operations, interfaces with industrial customers, new investors, EPCD members and senior RC Management. Receives administrative and technical direction in terms of broad project objectives from EPCD Department Director, SAPL Department Manager and Section Manager.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Lead the implementation and management of an EDMS for efficient data collection, storage, and analysis related to environmental monitoring.
+ Design and maintain an organized shared drive with document storage guidelines to enable efficient retrieval, version control, and proper archiving.
+ Create, implement, and periodically review a comprehensive quality policy to ensure alignment with organizational and international standards.
+ Lead the department's efforts to achieve and maintain ISO 9001 accreditation by preparing documentation, coordinating audits, and implementing corrective actions.
+ Conduct regular internal audits for water and air quality laboratories, identifying non-conformities and ensuring adherence to ISO 17025 standards.
+ Perform gap analyses across department processes and operations, developing and implementing measures for quality enhancements.
+ Organize regular training sessions on document management, quality procedures, and compliance requirements to build staff competence.
+ Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and overall quality performance.
+ Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve identified quality issues and prevent their recurrence.
+ Identify risks in documentation, operations, and quality management processes and implement mitigation strategies.
+ Track quality performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide reports with insights and recommendations.
+ Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and action plans for ongoing improvement.
+ Conduct regular audits of departmental documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established guidelines
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field from a recongnised western university
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance/control, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
+ Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) is a plus.
+ Knowledge of quality management systems and tool
