Our Des Plaines, IL site has an opportunity for a Quality Technician Specialist.The Quality Technician Specialist independently completes complex activities supporting long-duration projects. This role provides technical expertise and represents the work area across teams. The incumbent will act as the delegate and signatory for the Quality Technician Team Leader within the work area.

What You’ll Work On:

CAPA Management: Utilize the CAPA System effectively, applying technical expertise to CAPA activities and constraints.

Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively within the team and with internal/external stakeholders as guided by the manager. Participate in and potentially lead activities with Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs).

Documentation: Maintain, review, and update relevant documents and records to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Process Improvement: Lead product and process improvement initiatives within the work area. Monitor manufacturing processes, implement improvements, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Project Support: Independently manage multiple assignments supporting complex, long-duration projects and product improvements. Proactively seek and implement changes within the Quality Technical work area.

Computer Systems Management: Maintain and update relevant computer applications to support quality processes.

Quality and Compliance: Support manufacturing and testing operations in adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Demonstrate knowledge of the ADD Quality System, including subsystems and key processes.

Knowledge Sharing: Serve as a recognized technical expert in the specific Quality work area, providing training and guidance to less experienced technicians.

Testing Oversight: Ensure quality testing is completed per procedures, reviewing data for conformance with specifications. Oversee the execution of the plant Environmental Monitoring program.

Incoming Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of incoming items per standard requirements and ensure proper storage of samples and documents.

Change Control Management: Initiate and manage Change Plan and Document Change Request activities, coordinating with relevant document/process owners. Act as the lead technician for Change Control activities.

Ownership: Recognized as the lead technician for all key processes and procedures within the work area.

Education Skills / Experience You Will Bring:

Bachelor’s Degree in a science or closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.High School Diploma/GED with a certificate in a relevant science area is also acceptable.2 years of related work experience.trong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail



The base pay for this position is $28.20 – $56.40 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
