Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP BODS Data Migration S/4 Consultant
This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 11+ years of experience with Information Technology The role may need travel to project locations.Preferred Qualifications At least 11+ years of experience with Information Technology.Strong hands-on experience on SAP BODS and SQL on real time project experience for S4 HANA Data integration/ Data Migration11 years of strong experience dealing with various data integration programsBODS integration with SAP ECC/S4 HANA as source/target systems is preferredShould have experience to load data using IDOC, BAPI, LSMW, LTMCShould have experience to handle large volume of data while extracting from source and loading to targetShould have experience of push down approach in BODSShould have knowledge on Information Steward (Optional)Excellent communication and stake holder management skillsWorking experience with different source systems like Mainframe, SAPCandidates should have implemented S/4 Data Migration Projects either as hands-on ETL developer or SAP functional module lead capacity Good Understanding of Greenfield, Bluefield and Data migration life cycle and phases Ability to lead workshop at client sites with multiple stakeholders Must have developed data migration strategy and approach for multi-year multi country global rollout programs (template, pilot, waves)Must have executed data quality and validation programs and have worked with SAP migration cockpitAbility to define functional dependencies and project planning involving client’s business/IT, project functional and technical teams Must have participated in presales process and can develop RFP responses with estimation, resource plan, work package planning and orals.Expertise in Cutover Planning, Project Planning and Project Design.Demonstrate thought leadership & drive decision makingWork with a diverse team spread across globallyNatural talent in the art of people management including team building and driving grounds-up innovation.Experience in the area of proposal management, pre-sales and driving a sales pitch.Good analytical and logical problem-solving skills combined with the talent to quickly grasp new tasks.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Knowledge / certification of S4 HANA and Scrum Master / Agile Coach can be additional benefits that you bring with you.Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
