Principal Scientist, Data Science - Hybrid Requisition Id: 377948 Business Unit: Corporate Location: Boston, MA, US, 02111 **What you’ll need to succeed as a Principal Scientist, Data Science at XPO:** Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience + 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying optimization solutions + Experience in pricing optimization, demand forecasting, utilizing statistical modeling, machine learning, and reinforcement learning techniques. + Strong experience with SQL, Python and Java + Experience using statistical modeling to solve business problems + A deep understanding of machine learning techniques and experience applying them to solve business problems. + Track record in leading cross-functional initiatives that span across the organization. + Ability to translate complex data sets and research into simple business recommendations.
