Based in Stavanger, Norway, you will function as a general resource person within product development programs on flow measurement technologies.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

Develop methods and algorithms for flow measurement products Develop and qualify new products for Emerson portfolio Function as the product developmentā€™s professional resource person within issues regarding the specialized field: multiphase flow, microwave measurement, impedance measurement / tomography. Support other parts of the organization with advanced technical support when needed: e.g. service, sales, production and manufacturing & engineering Act as a resource for Project Manager and Department Managers in evaluating risks, timelines and challenges in projects

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in electronics, physics or another relevant field. Strong theoretical skills within one or several of the fields: electromagnetics, physics and measurement of multiphase flow 5-10 years of post-qualification experience or equivalent business experience Ideally experience from technology and product development or industrial research, preferably from the oil & gas industry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

Experience from using simulation tools like Matlab, Comsol or HFSS Analytical, structured, thorough, committed, self-driven and proactive Some experience with software engineering Good communication, presentation and documentation skills
