Overview :
We are looking for Principal SDET/Architect for our R& D team in Bangalore location.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement scalable test automation frameworks and tools using industry-standard practices. Lead the development and execution of test automation strategies across the entire SDLC, including unit testing, integration testing, API testing, UI testing, and performance testing. Leverage your knowledge of K8s concepts (pods, deployments, services, etc.) to configure and manage the test environment. Participate in the selection and implementation of testing tools that integrate seamlessly with Kubernetes Assess and enhance the performance of the QA automation framework to guarantee high efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability of testing operations. Review code for testability and identify potential defects early in the development process. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in testing methodologies and tools. Drive the adoption of best practices in test automation within the organization. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on technical design decisions. Mentor and guide junior SDETs, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Qualifications: Minimum of 12 years of experience in software development and testing, with a strong focus on automation. Expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber). Experience with API automation tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured ). Experience with performance testing tools (e. g., K6, JMeter). Hands on OOPS, programming/ coding exp in Python & Java (Mandatory) Good experience of scripting languages like Python, Shell Scripts, Java, Rust, JavaScript, Bash scripting and Linux Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid) Sufficient knowledge of RDBMS – PostgreSQL Strong understanding of cloud-native principles and containerization technologies. In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, including deployments, services, networking, and security. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing processes within a K8s environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
