This role will be responsible for **assessing security risks, driving architectural changes, and shaping the company-wide product security program and roadmap** . As a **technical leader** , you will work closely with **engineering, product, DevOps, security, legal, and privacy teams** to embed security best practices across the **software development lifecycle (SDLC)** . This position is based in **India** and will report to the **Director - Product Security Architecture** . **What** **You’ll** **Do** **Product Security Architecture & Design** + Assess **security risks across Sprinklr’s product suite, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and distributed SaaS applications** . + Lead **security deep dives, threat** **modeling** **, and design reviews** to proactively mitigate security risks. + Define **baseline security standards for applications, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes architecture** . + Identify and promote **common security design patterns** for large-scale, distributed SaaS applications. **Secure Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture** + Assess **cloud networking, identity management, cloud storage, and container security** , ensuring security best practices in cloud-native environments. + Collaborate with engineering teams on **post-incident security reviews, remediation strategies, and security roadmap planning** . + Work with **DevOps and cloud engineers** to strengthen **serverless security, database security, and messaging queue security** . **Secure SDLC &** **DevSecOps** **Integration** + Drive **Sprinklr’s Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S-SDLC)** and onboard product teams to integrate security early in development. + Identify and implement **security automation and tooling solutions** , including **CNAPP, security scanning tools, and secure coding frameworks** . + Ensure **DevSecOps** **best practices** , incorporating security into CI/CD pipelines. **Security Governance, Risk & Compliance** + Define **security controls for modern architectures** , including **API security, microservices, and container security** . + Strengthen **IAM security** through **Single Sign-On (SSO), OAUTH, SAML, and secrets management** . + Ensure compliance with **security frameworks and industry standards** (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, SOC 2, PCI-DSS, GDPR). + Collaborate with **legal and privacy teams** to ensure Sprinklr’s security policies align with regulatory requirements. **Security Incident Response & Risk Mitigation** + Act as a **security advisor in incident response scenarios** , working with PSIRT and engineering teams. + Handle **urgent and reactive security situations** , ensuring rapid risk mitigation. + Rationalize **security risks and articulate business impact** to key stakeholders. **Security Thought Leadership & Innovation** + Stay informed on **emerging security threats, AI security, and evolving cyber risks** . + Influence **engineering leadership to adopt secure-by-design principles** and strengthen security-first culture. + Participate in **public speaking, security meetups, and conferences** to represent Sprinklr’s security vision. + Mentor teams and contribute to **security awareness and training initiatives** . **What Makes You Qualified?** + **10+ years of experience** in **product security, application security, and cloud security** . + Expertise in **distributed SaaS applications, secure architecture, and security controls for cloud environments** . + Strong proficiency in **threat** **modeling** **, secure design reviews, and cloud security best practices** . + Hands-on experience with **security frameworks,** **DevSecOps** **, and CI/CD security** . + Deep understanding of **IAM security, API security, and microservices security** . + Ability to **influence engineering leaders and drive security decisions** . + Strong **analytical and problem-solving skills** , with experience in communicating security risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience with **PSIRT teams on security incidents** . + Knowledge of **AI security, thick client applications, and** **CPaaS** **(Communication Platform as a Service)** . + Experience in **network security, VPNs, source code review, and secure automation** . + Public speaking experience at **security conferences or industry events** . **Why** **You’ll** **Love Working Here** **We Focus on Our Mission** We are committed to **enabling enterprises to build and** **operate** **secure products with confidence** .
