Principal Security Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Threat Prevention Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. In this critical role, you will focus on designing, developing, and integrating robust security infrastructures to prevent potential threats to our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a strong emphasis on building and optimizing threat prevention systems and infrastructure within a SaaS environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Development: Design and build advanced threat prevention infrastructure tailored to our SaaS environment, ensuring scalability and resilience.Integration: Integrate various security tools and technologies to create a cohesive and efficient threat prevention ecosystem.Automation: Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance threat detection and prevention processes, reducing manual intervention.Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, software engineering, IT, and compliance teams to integrate security best practices to advance our cybersecurity capability.Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across all layers of the SaaS infrastructure.Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance existing security measures, staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.Solution Design: Analyze intricate problem statements and diverse use cases to develop & implement robust Cyber Security solutions that address our organizational needs.
 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.Experience: At least 10 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a particular focus on infrastructure development and integration in a SaaS environment.Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalents are a plus.Technical Skills: Extensive experience with security tools and technologies, including cloud security, SaaS security, SIEM solutions, endpoint protection.Knowledge: Deep understanding of network security, cloud security principles, encryption methods, and secure software development practices.Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a capability to innovate and create custom solutions.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate complex concepts to different stakeholders.

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $177,000.00-$265,000.00. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only (or OTE for commissions based roles), and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
